July is nearly gone already
And I'm just getting around to sending this! June came and went, apparently. Summer is busy! I hope you're all enjoying one of my passions: the great breezes we've been having.

A cool thing happened recently, though I didn't realize it at first. A guy came knocking on our door one evening, and I thought to myself: 1) why is a random guy knocking on the door? and 2) why do I kind of recognize him? Turns out, it was one of the candidates for our local city commission - we have a special election in early August to fill a seat formerly occupied by someone who resigned shortly after getting elected and subsequently being appointed mayor. I recognized him because a local friend had posted a selfie with him recently! He handed me a zine outlining his beliefs (anti-fascist) and priorities (mutual aid) and we high fived before he left to talk to the next house. I was so delighted to see a zine used in this way! I've got a couple of zine ideas brewing myself...in the past, I had a per-zine that was mostly an assortment of things I was thinking about, not dissimilar from what my blog was and what this newsletter now is. But now I've got some Opinions To Share On Specific Topics so that's what those zines will hopefully be, if I ever finish making them. :)

This month's patreon sticker is inspired by those plastic charm necklaces that were all the rage at one point in my youth. I definitely collected a bunch of them, did you?
Last thing for this time: if you are a shop who wants to order wholesale (or know a shop that wants to order wholesale), Faire Market is happening right now, through July 24. My biggest discounts of the year are now available for a limited time! Wholesale customers can see my shop at https://AnneArchy.faire.com
