are you okay?

Are you okay? Have you been watching Severance obsessively? I sure have! I am so invested in this show. I already talked about this in January, but I cannot stop! If you have theories or just want to talk about it, let me know!

Recommendations: We are in the midst of a time of shifting in media and this series of posts by Annalee Newitz (ask me to tell you about their novel The Terraformers and I will not stop talking for many minutes! Or just go get yourself a copy at your local library or bookshop and get right to enjoying it!) is a way to learn more about how this stuff works. Like a little online class but with lots of memes and in bite-sized pieces. I'm digging it.

It's winter here in Mid-Michigan and, unlike last year's winter drought, we are getting snow! This week alone we have had several "big" snows - meaning a few inches or more - and we are scheduled to get a bunch more today and tomorrow. Some forecasts are saying a total of another 6-10 inches, which is pretty significant for here. I've been taking some inspiration from my pal Kristin and my sister, both of whom have done a good job of getting reliable winter clothing which enables Doing Stuff Outside When It's Cold, and finally got myself a pair of bibs (winter snowpants). I'm looking forward to donning those along with warm knitwear, my big boots, and my ice cleats, and enjoying the chance to move.
